Open, light style

Originally designed to challenge the dour notions of what a cemetery ordinarily looks like, Pinegrove Memorial Park is a wide-open, light and airy space; a peaceful place set amongst a sprawling natural setting.

Family Connection

Having served Sydney’s Greater West for more than 50 years, almost every family in the region already has a connection to us.

Our History

Pinegrove Memorial Park is one the largest and most beautiful independently-owned memorial spaces in Sydney’s Greater West.

Built on a former dairy farm and completed in the early 1960s, Pinegrove Memorial Park has served families for more than 50 years.

Originally designed to challenge the dour notions of what a cemetery ordinarily looks like, Pinegrove Memorial Park is a wide-open, light and airy space; a peaceful place set amongst a sprawling natural setting.

Compare us to other cemeteries in the area, which can be bewildering and crowded places, and you will see that Pinegrove Memorial Park remains true to its original vision and sets a new standard for cemeteries in the area.

Conceived and developed by a group of prominent Australian businessmen who formed the Pinegrove Cremation Society, they then went on to educate the community on several important aspects of the services provided by Pinegrove Memorial Park. The first is that cremation does not mean an end, for many memorial options, exist for the preservation and honouring of a loved one. The second is that a memorial park is a place as much for the living as it is for the departed. Pinegrove Memorial Park is grateful to the founders of the Pinegrove Cremation Society for all of the work they did so many years ago.

In a testament to the beliefs of the founders of Pinegrove Cremation Society, Co-Managing Director, Roy H Taffs, is memorialised within the grounds in a heritage cremation memorial site.

Today, Pinegrove Memorial Park remains an Australian-operated business that is committed to serving all of the people of Sydney, especially those who live in Sydney’s Greater West.

We are easily accessed, as we are conveniently located near the junction of the M7 motorway and the Great Western Highway. To find out more about Pinegrove Memorial Park and the services we offer, please call us on (02) 9625 8066.
